Winters (Austin Peay State University) reflect on what makes the ASCSA summer sessions such a life-changing, unique program. Certainly experiencing "culture in context" firsthand, outside of textbooks, is the major factor, but there's much more to it as they explain here.
Application for Senior Associate Membership
Those Eligible:
Independent and post-graduate scholars who wish to use the School’s facilities for their own research in Greece for a full academic year (September 1 to June 1).
The Program:
Senior Associate Members pursue independent research. Use of other facilities and participation in other activities can be offered only when space permits, and at the discretion of the Director.
Application:
Consists of an application form, a project description, and curriculum vitae.
